Shine the Path of Others and the Path will be Shone unto You

I read of a story in the newspaper lately: A blind man was walking along the street at night, holding in his hand a brightly-lit lantern. The others were curious, and asked him, “You can't see. Isn't it redundant to walk with a lit lantern?” The blind man said seriously, “This lantern in my hand is held up to light up others, so that they can see their way and not bump into me. While i'm helping others, i'm also helping myself.”


Think about it:

Competition is inevitable in this highly sophisticated society. But how can we find an environment that is favorable and beneficial to ourselves as well as others?
