The chinese calendar has been particularly lucky for Mandy. She's decided to do something special on the occasion of the Chinese New Year. Today in the office, she has been sitting at her computer and doing a lot of research on the year of the ox. She matched the chinese year signs and looked for compatibility tests.
“Really Mandy, if you had done half that research on your work, you'd have been the next big thing in the company,” i told her. But i have no doubt that she will definitely be the next, going by her steady progress. She just smiled and went back to her research.
On a bright note, friend got me a chinese zodiac ornament and errr... facial masks from the trip. Dear, thanks so much, you must had enjoyed the vacation a lot. I personally feel that gifts are only as good as the emotion it comes along with, monetary value of the gifts is never important.
So there you have it folks, my friends are a riot. They are always doing the roller coaster ride, up and down. What can i say? I believe this Zen quote. It's actually a chinese proverb that Mandy found while researching, it says: “One joy scatters a hundred griefs.” I thought that was really simple, yet profound.
What about myself? Considering what i have done today, it wasn't quite different from yesterday, so not much to say. But i'm in a good mood.
By the way, i wish a Happy Chinese New Year for everyone who is following my adventure. I hope that all of you are fine and well, and may you a lot of luck this new year.
Again, GONG XI FA CAI!!
