I will keep her in my prayers

Are you a friend or relative of a person who has been diagnosed with cancer?

First of all, i know that cancer is such a scary illness to go through. Although i have not experienced cancer (touch wood). But cancer in general is one of my biggest fears, and it just seems like so many people around me have had some kind of cancer. So it’s hard for me not to feel the threat of cancer.

On tuesday, i was told that a very dear relative of mine’s has battled cancer. It was just discovered few days ago. Apparently, this is not a news that i wanted to hear.

I have no idea which stages was she in, but i wish it is in the early stage, so if she gets into treatment right away, they should be able to cure it.

In this situation, she will need a lot of support both physically and emotionally, so the family must be prepared to help. It is indeed a family fight. Other than that, it is also important for everyone to keep her strong. My prayers go out to my aunt and all of her family.

On a side note, i took a day off today as i will be heading to hometown in the afternoon for my cousin’s wedding. I was also a wee bit worried about the work on Monday. Sometimes, meeting doesn’t help much when you have a very tight schedule. It’s simply a waste of time.

it is devastated to receive news of misfortune, what more about someone really dear to us. it's painful, but let's stay strong so that our loved ones can depend on our strength when they feel sick.

:) take care of yourself.
