Soya Bean Jelly with Longan

It's been a while since the day i've received the request asking for longan jelly. Anyway, i was in the mood for some jelly and soya bean jelly with longan to be exact. This is the best dessert i ever tasted. I love it!

However, it is quite expensive to buy from outside stalls. I know a cup of soya bean jelly with longan costs RM2.50-RM3.00. Moreover, those "commercial" desserts are sometimes way too sweet for the palate.

Hence, i decided to cook it at home whenever i feel like having some. I can adjust the sweetness to my liking, as well as adding my preference of ingredients which complement the plain jelly.

The making process of this dessert might look troublesome, but indeed the cooking steps are far easier than what you thought.

As usual, i boiled half of the pot, and sent some for my tasters to try. Of course, it was appreciated by all of them (smiling).

The texture of this attempt turned out so much better than the previous attempts. It's slowly melting in your mouth.

Next, i might want to look into the smoothness wise.


It is way too simple to have this tasty, healthy and hearty dessert made by your own at home. A cup of such dessert not just satisfies your taste bud, it’s also a reward to your skin and body.

No particular reason for adding longan, it’s my preference as i like its crunchy and chewy bites when having this dessert. Simply delicious!!
