Day by Day Journal - Day 5

We had free morning, so we decided to wake up early in the morning and explored the city. We young people like to explore ourselves.

We walked over to a typical HK restaurant for early breakfast, which is only one road across.

What shouldn't be missed in HK when it comes to breakfast?

We shared the pineapple butter bun, ham and egg...

the peanut butter toast...

and of course my all time favourite HK style milk tea.

The bun and toast were just nice, and the milk tea tasted so good. Yummy~!!

We took away one set of pineapple butter bun with milk tea for dad and mum as breakfast. Guess how much it costs for all? Total bill was HK$86... expensive right?

Later at 10am, we met up with the rest in the group for breakfast. Since we were in HK, we couldn't miss out trying the authentic HK dim sum. We had it for breakfast on the day of our departure in a restaurant near our hotel.

What a filling breakfast!

After checking-out of the hotel, we made our way to the airport and ended our long planned HK trip. Very tired but happy!

The island is very beautiful and local people are not as unfriendly as we thought. I personally enjoyed this trip a lot, and experienced much more from it. We were very lucky it didn't rain that few days. The season was late autumn, and the weather was slightly hot, but it was alright.

Perhaps our generation has grown up under the influence of HK music, movies, drama series, food, etc, that's why we always felt that HK is closer to us compared to our neighbour Singapore. Well, at least i feel that way.
