Finding a balance

I did BB44 wednesday at Summit USJ, as i needed a good stretch. The Summit was rather crowded that night compare to normal thursday.

The Body Balance class was at 8pm, conducted by Michelle, with only 3 members in the house. I never ever join a class with only few members. Sharon came in before the class started. She told the instructor that i am a regular. Yeah, i was “pro” compare to the other two girls, cause they are new in this club and it was their first time of doing BB.

The mind & body studio was stuffy after a hot flow. I started feeling the sweat the first track i did. The class wasn't awesome at all. The girls really spoiled a good workout, as they did not follow the instructor big time. Other than that, they even complaint that BB poses are tough. Thus the instructor had to keep motivating them. Nonetheless, i will be considering this class in the future if i wish to have a stretch.

Been doing too much cardio classes a week. It's not really good for the health. It's better if i could slot in one or two stretching programs in between. I was thinking to restructure my weekly workout routine, let's see how it goes...

I am also slowing down and everyone will agree that we need to tone down the exercise when we grow "older" :p. I am slowly switching to more BB and yoga too. Or just do own cardio with some weights. :) Take care of yourself.

Sometimes i wake up feeling tight and stiff. I believe that our daily movements can tighten our muscles. Obviously stretching is a good way to loosen up muscles and also to improve flexibility.

I once heard that regular stretching may be more effective in preventing injuries than occasional stretching. So will think about it.

You take care too.. don't be over-loaded ya.
